Family.
After many years in the diamond industry, Don and Lynn Blakeman determined that it was time to stop the business travel and decided to open a jewelry store. In 1987, Blakeman's Jewelry was founded with $5,000 in savings. The goal was to build a family business and be able to spend lots of time with the family. Thanks to you, our customers, after nearly two decades, Josh and Ben Blakeman are now actively involved in our business and after several years many of our employees are part of our extended family. 
Ethics.
We always have and always will do the right thing. This is more important to us than any other aspect of our business. Don Blakeman, our founder, even went to the extent of recently earning a master's degree in leadership and ethics from John Brown University.
Value.
We must offer the best value in our market. We accomplish this by maintaining decades of business relationships with the best diamond cutters, designers, and manufacturers world wide. In the last 12 months we visited eight different countries in both hemispheres, including Eastern and Western Europe, in order to buy at the source. Our customers are knowledgeable and well traveled and have come to expect only the best value from Blakeman's. We will always work to delight all of our customers with exceptional value.
